Objectives
SWEO is working towards achieving the following objectives for the benefit of its target group, the poor, socially and economically deprived people:
- Increasing awareness among the poorest of the poor about prevailing socio-economic development programs.
- Undertaking suitable projects and programs with a special emphasis on Primary Health Care, Family Welfare, Comprehensive Rural Development, and environmentally friendly activities.
- Creating relationships with the people of the communities, government agencies, institutions, and international organizations to identify and resolve the needs of the communities.
- Launching short-term technical skill development training programs to create income generation opportunities for women in handicrafts, handloom, horticulture, and livestock.
- Coordinating humanitarian assistance for individuals with disabilities and creating suitable job opportunities for them.
- Implementing programs in agriculture, education, animal husbandry, engineering, humanitarian assistance, and maintaining close relations with human rights and civil society foundations through the launch of social and environmental programs.
- Cooperating in suitable joint ventures with governmental organizations and agencies to address poverty, improve the health status of the common people, and provide relief and rehabilitation during disasters.
- Protecting and preserving the culture, language, and traditions of tribal indigenous people.
- Developing public programs in different cities and towns to maintain clean and green environments to assist in community healthcare.
- Publishing periodical magazines, books, pamphlets, leaflets, or booklets that SWEO considers desirable or helpful in promoting its objectives.
- Delivering training programs for the required number of volunteers on socioeconomics, environmental skills, functional education, etc.
- Seeking and receiving subscriptions, donations, and other support from individuals, institutions, or organizations, both domestic and international, and using them for the organization's purposes. However, for receiving and utilizing any foreign donations, contributions, or support, the organization will abide by all provisions stipulated in the Foreign Donation (Voluntary Activities) Regulation.
